Get paid same day. Not someday.
Connect Stripe once. After that, every inspection can carry a secure card checkout link — and every payment marks the job paid, sends a receipt, and lands in your books without you touching anything.
The report goes out. The link goes with it.
Setup is a one-time Stripe Connect flow from Settings → Payments — create a new Stripe account or connect the one you already have, verify your business details, and the status flips to Active. From then on, set the fee on any inspection and click Send Payment Link. Your client gets an email with a secure Stripe checkout, and the moment they pay, the inspection marks itself paid and a confirmation lands in your inbox.
- One secure link. Clients pay by card through Stripe's hosted checkout — no reader, no terminal, no invoice PDF attached to an email thread.
- Automatic receipts. Every successful card payment sends a receipt on its own, and your invoices carry your branding — not a Stripe default.
- Collect at booking. Add the payment step to your online booking flow and clients pay when they schedule. The job is funded before you leave the driveway.
Cash and checks still count.
Not every client pays by link. For cash, checks, Venmo, or Zelle, open the inspection and click Record Payment — enter the amount, pick the method, add a note if you want one. The inspection is marked paid and the record sits alongside your card payments, not in a separate spreadsheet.
- Two clicks on the job. Record Payment lives on the inspection detail page — log the check before it leaves your hand.
- Numbers stay honest. Manual payments count toward revenue analytics and payroll splits exactly like Stripe payments, so your reports reflect the whole business.
Set your prices once.
Define each service one time — name, description, price, estimated duration, primary or add-on — and it powers your online booking page and keeps quotes consistent across your whole team. Discount codes work the same way: create a code like SPRING25 as a percentage or a flat amount, set an optional expiration, and clients apply it during booking. Analytics tracks every code, so you know which promotion actually drove bookings instead of guessing.
The paper trail writes itself.
Every payment — card, cash, or check — is recorded against the inspection it belongs to. Card payments send a receipt automatically; revenue analytics update from the same records, and payroll splits calculate from real payment data instead of a reconstructed month. When you need to know what happened in March, the answer is already filed.
Questions, answered.
Do I need my own Stripe account?+
Yes — payments run on Stripe Connect. From Settings → Payments, create a new Stripe account or connect an existing one and verify your business details. Once your status shows Active, every inspection can carry a payment link. You do it once.
What can clients pay with?+
Card, through the secure Stripe checkout link they receive by email. For everything else — cash, check, Venmo, Zelle — record the payment manually and the inspection is marked paid the same way.
Can clients pay when they book instead of after the report?+
Yes. Include the payment step in your online booking flow and clients pay at the time they schedule. Discount codes apply there too, so a promotion carries from your marketing straight through to the charge.
Is payments an add-on?+
No. Payments, invoicing, services, and discount codes are included in every Pro plan — $79.99 per inspector per month, or $799.99 per year — like every other feature. Stripe's standard processing rates apply to card charges, as they would with any processor.
Every feature. One plan.
No add-ons, no enterprise tier. Start with 5 free published reports — no credit card — and keep everything when you upgrade.
